finally i got my rest that i wanted very much..... i did the first aid for the SAS FOP for 27 march to 28 march.... it was a matter of one day but seriously it was a hell job... i didn't know that SAS camp would have so much of causalities...hmmm.... i underestimated the camp...
from the beginning of the camp till the end of the camp it was a mad rush for me... actually saying that it started at the beginning of the camp would be exaggerating.... i would say that my first casualty came about 2 hours after the camp officially started.... i saw many "cases" in the SAS FOP.... i dealt with fever, gastric pain, skin abrasions, cuts, broken nails, stomach pain, dizziness, sprain and strain in the legs.... wow just too many in a matter of 48 hours..... the best part is that even at 3 am in the morning people came looking for us for first aid.... we were seriously dead tired but we stilled served with passion.... I and Nisha joked that soon we are going to create a board saying that
we are closed for now!! come again later... then early morning we woke up....as a matter of fact.... we didn't wake up we were forced to wake up as some new freshmen were enthu about the camp and started taking shower early in the morning about 4 am.... due to the hassle and noise.... i woke up and was not able to sleep.... to be more precise... not able to close the eyes peacefully.....
the worst of all... is the call in the bathroom.... i remember it was on the 27th march, night.... i was taking a shower in the RP sports complex and received a call from the SIT camp saying that they need a first aider immediately.... i was like what the hell... i am in the middle of the shower.... i quickly directed my other first aider jeff to the SIT camp.... hahaha....even no peace for 10 mins to take a shower.... this is worst than the military boot camp...
anyways, i want to add that i really had a good time in the SAS FOP camp....its totally worth it with everyone's effort..... proud of you guys!!!
